Hi and welcome. My practice is informed by lived experience and professional training in the ways trauma can impact mind and body. I use a holistic integrative, evidence-based approach to support adults & couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. My work draws from EMDR, DBR, somatic psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, CBT, Schema, IMAGO & Parts therapy. Therapy is tailored to your goals and grounded in collaboration and respect. I also provide psychological services for couples where mental health concerns are impacting the relationship. Read more...

The Issue Is In the Tissue
Many experiences of stress, trauma, anxiety, grief, and emotional overwhelm are not only held in our thoughts, but can also be reflected in the body through patterns of tension in the tissue, activation, shutdown, and nervous system dysregulation.

My approach integrates evidence-based psychology with somatic (body-aware) and trauma-informed practices that recognise the important relationship between the mind, body, emotions, relationships, and life experiences. Rather than focusing solely on thoughts and behaviours, we also explore how emotions and stress responses may be experienced physically, helping clients develop greater awareness of the signals and wisdom of their nervous system.

Together, we explore the beliefs, emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, behavioural habits, and protective responses that may be contributing to distress or preventing meaningful change. Through a compassionate and collaborative process, clients are supported to build emotional awareness, strengthen nervous system regulation, develop healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with their values, strengths, and sense of self.

For couples, this approach also helps partners understand how attachment patterns, trauma responses, neurodivergence, and nervous system activation can influence communication, conflict, intimacy, and emotional connection. As awareness and regulation increase, couples often find it easier to create safety, understanding, and connection within the relationship.

Within a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, clients are encouraged to cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, embodied connection, and personal insight. This can support lasting change, improved wellbeing, and a deeper capacity to engage fully in life and relationships.
