Quantum Healing an interview with Kim Bostaille & Leigh Milne holistic psychologist

Welcome to the Quantum Couple & Wellness Blog, where we explore evidence-informed psychology alongside conversations with professionals working in complementary wellbeing, personal development, and mind–body practices.

As part of the Quantum Couple & Wellness Podcast, I recently spoke with Kim Bostaille, a trauma-informed kinesiologist and wellbeing practitioner who works internationally with clients interested in intuitive development, kinesiology, personal growth, and complementary approaches to wellbeing.

Our conversation explored Kim's professional journey, her views on intuition and self-awareness, and the ways in which some people use complementary wellbeing practices as part of their broader personal development journey.

Meet Kim Bostaille

Kim Bostaille is a French-based practitioner who works in the fields of kinesiology, intuitive development, and complementary wellbeing.

Her work draws from a range of approaches including:

  • kinesiology

  • intuitive development

  • personal growth practices

  • mind–body awareness

  • complementary wellbeing education

Kim has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and now also provides mentoring and training for individuals interested in developing their own intuitive awareness and reflective practices.

From Creative Industries to Wellbeing Practice

During our conversation, Kim described how her early experiences and interests eventually led her from a career in the creative industries toward work in complementary wellbeing.

She spoke about her interest in:

  • intuition

  • self-awareness

  • personal development

  • mind–body connections

  • helping people explore their own inner resources

Like many practitioners in the wellbeing space, Kim's work has evolved through a combination of formal training, professional experience, and personal exploration.

Understanding Kinesiology and Complementary Approaches

Kinesiology is a complementary wellbeing practice that some individuals use to explore patterns related to stress, wellbeing, and personal development.

Practitioners may utilise techniques such as:

  • muscle monitoring

  • reflective questioning

  • stress awareness exercises

  • goal-setting processes

  • self-awareness practices

Experiences and interpretations vary between practitioners, and kinesiology is not considered a psychological or medical treatment.

Intuition and Self-Awareness

A central theme of our discussion was intuition.

Kim describes intuition as a capacity that many people possess and can develop through increased self-awareness and reflective practice.

She discussed how individuals may become more aware of:

  • emotional responses

  • internal cues

  • personal values

  • decision-making processes

  • patterns of behaviour

While perspectives on intuition differ considerably, many people find value in learning to pause, reflect, and listen more carefully to their own experiences.

Stress, Wellbeing, and Personal Growth

Another theme that emerged throughout our conversation was the impact of stress on wellbeing.

Kim spoke about the importance of:

  • slowing down

  • developing self-awareness

  • creating space for reflection

  • identifying patterns that may no longer be serving a person well

  • taking intentional action aligned with personal values

These themes are consistent with many contemporary approaches to wellbeing and personal development.

The Importance of Integration

One point that resonated strongly throughout our discussion was the importance of integration.

Regardless of the approach used, lasting change often involves translating insight into meaningful action.

This may involve:

  • making different choices

  • establishing healthier boundaries

  • strengthening relationships

  • prioritising self-care

  • engaging in valued activities

  • developing new habits

Insight alone is often insufficient without practical application.

Different Approaches, Different Perspectives

The wellbeing field includes a broad range of perspectives and practices.

Some individuals are drawn to evidence-based healthcare approaches.

Others may choose to incorporate complementary wellbeing practices as part of their personal growth journey.

People are encouraged to make informed decisions and seek appropriately qualified healthcare professionals when addressing physical health concerns, mental health conditions, or psychological difficulties.

Final Message from Kim

"If you feel stuck or lost, there is always a way through. You're not broken. You’re powerful, intuitive, and made to thrive."
